La Sexta y La Razón: el mismo perro contra Willy Toledo y contra Cuba
José Manzaneda, coordinador de Cubainformación.- “Me gustaría que este señor (…) alguna vez condenase el asesinato de homosexuales en Cuba por el hecho de ser homosexuales” (Eduardo Inda, tertuliano y director de OK diario). “En Cuba hay todavía homosexuales en las prisiones” (Javier Sardá, showman y tertuliano). ¿Homosexuales encarcelados, asesinados en Cuba? ¿Les parece si escuchamos a las “víctimas”? “La sociedad cubana tiene todavía mucho que cambiar, pero con respecto a nosotros los homosexuales y los travestis, ha habido bastantes avances y eso se lo agradecemos, sobre todo, a la Revolución, porque nos ha dado nuestro espacio” (1). “Es lo mejor, porque nos ha dado esta libertad y nos va a seguir dado libertad, esperamos”. “Yo solo puedo opinar que estoy muy contento de que en mi país se hagan galas (contra la homofobia) como esta y de que se apoye a la juventud gay” (2). Son opiniones recogidas por Cubainformación TV, el pasado mayo, en las calles de la Isla.
En Cuba se han dado pasos importantes en el respeto a la libre orientación sexual y de género, y campañas contra la homofobia y la transfobia recorren las calles, los medios y las escuelas del país (3). Pero, como en tantos temas, la realidad de la Isla va por un lado, y lo que oímos en los medios de comunicación -españoles, por ejemplo- va por otro.
El conocido showman y tertuliano Javier Sardá atacaba a Cuba, en esta misma línea, mencionando al escritor cubano Reinaldo Arenas. “Reinaldo Arenas, escritor cubano que estuvo en la cárcel, que le machacaron, que le destruyeron por homosexual…”. Es curioso que el caso Arenas, que ocurrió hace más de 40 años, sea el argumento hoy para atacar al sistema político cubano (4). El actor Willy Toledo replicaba a Sardá citando los asesinatos de estado cometidos, en aquella época, por la “democracia” española: “Si hablamos de Reinaldo Arenas hablemos de Lasa y Zabala” –torturados, asesinados y enterrados en cal viva por la Guardia Civil en 1983- “que no estuvieron presos, sino que fueron asesinados por el sistema español” (5).
La escena corresponde al programa “Al rojo vivo” del canal español La Sexta, que invitó a Willy Toledo a su plató el pasado 27 de junio (6). Un hecho excepcional, ya que el actor, desde que en 2010 realizó unas declaraciones sobre Cuba inaceptables para los círculos de poder mediático (7), y por su actividad sindical en el sector audiovisual (8), sufre un boicot laboral (9) y un permanente linchamiento en los medios españoles (10).
El programa tuvo minutos de inusual libertad de expresión, cuando Toledo habló de presos políticos, torturas y falta de democracia en España; o cuando realizó una defensa de procesos, demonizados en los medios, como los de Cuba y Venezuela. “Todas las mentiras que vertéis sobre Venezuela, sobre Cuba, contra todos aquellos países y sistemas políticos que no os interesan...” Aunque para ello tuviera que lidiar no solo contra la mayoría de tertulianos, sino contra el propio presentador, convertido en juez y parte. “Creo que nuestra perspectiva sobre Venezuela no es exactamente la misma que otros medios de comunicación de este país” (Antonio García Ferreras, director y presentador del programa). “Prácticamente. Al final, con una pátina `sociata´, `progre´, estáis diciendo lo mismo y diciendo las mismas barbaridades, como por ejemplo que (Nicolás) Maduro es un dictador, que (Hugo) Chávez era un dictador” (Willy Toledo). “No me parece la democracia de mayor calidad la de Maduro” (A. G. Ferreras). “Pero es que es mentira que en Venezuela se persiga a los medios de comunicación, es mentira” (W. Toledo). “¿Y quién se lo ha inventado, Willy?” (Javier Sardá, tertuliano). “Vds. Y los medios de comunicación capitalistas, que están dispuestos a mentir hasta el último extremo con tal de derribar sistemas políticos contrarios a sus intereses” (W. Toledo).
Willy Toledo aprovechó el espacio para adentrarse en un tema tabú: el de la propiedad de los medios de comunicación, que condiciona la información y la selección de opiniones de acuerdo a sus intereses e ideología (11). “Que Vds. crean que tenemos dónde elegir es una falacia como la copa de un pino”. “Los mismos dueños de esta cadena que pasa por ser la cadena `progre´ de este país son los dueños del diario `La Razón´, que es el diario nacional católico fascista español. Esto es una cuestión de nichos (de mercado)”, explicó el actor. “Esto se llama libertad de prensa”, le respondió Ferreras. “¿Qué libertad de prensa?” (W. Toledo). “Hay un editor que invierte en lo que quiere y monta el medio de comunicación que considere” (A. G. Ferreras). “Como decía el gran Carlos Marx, la libertad de prensa es la libertad del dueño de la imprenta, y en este país hay dos grupos de comunicación que controlan el 85 % de los medios” (W. Toledo).
Toledo fue más allá, y puso el dedo en la llaga, al tocar uno de los temas blindados por la censura: el de la explotación laboral en las empresas periodísticas (12). “Tú te has preguntado y preocupado alguna vez de los sueldos de esta gente que está aquí detrás cámaras, gente de producción, becarios, cuánto cobra esta gente? (…) ¿700 euros te parece bien, te parece un buen sueldo?”, se dirigió a Antonio García Ferreras. “¿Pero por qué hablas en nombre de ellos?, respondió este. “Porque no tienen altavoz. Tienen voz, pero no altavoz” (W. Toledo). “Tienen voz y altavoz...” (A. G. Ferreras). “¿Tú has traído alguna vez a un cámara a que explique las condiciones laborales de este programa? ¿Por qué hablo en su nombre? Porque tengo el privilegio, entre otros muchos, de tener un micro y me lo ponéis. Y como mis compañeras trabajadoras, obreras, no tienen ese micro, yo hablo y denuncio su situación”, explicó el actor entre constantes interrupciones.
Días después, otro programa del canal, La Sexta Noche, volvió a hablar sobre Willy Toledo (13). Y bajo un gran titular de tono burlesco (“¡Liberad a Willy!”), varios tertulianos se dedicaron a insultar al actor, esta vez sin su presencia (14). “Es un fascista Willy Toledo, además es un actor mediocre. (...) Lo que define a Willy Toledo es que es un botarate”, decía Francisco Marhuenda, director del diario La Razón. “A Willy Toledo hay que llevarlo a un frenopático. (...) Un psiquiatra para Willy Toledo, hay que hacer una cuestación para pagarle un psiquiatra a Willy Toledo”, añadía Eduardo Inda, director de OK diario.
Este tertuliano, Eduardo Inda, recriminaba el apoyo del actor a Cuba, con los siguientes argumentos: “Me gustaría que este señor (Willy Toledo), que vive a cuerpo de rey en El Laguito, que es el mejor sitio de Cuba (…) alguna vez condenase el asesinato de homosexuales en Cuba por el hecho de ser homosexuales, y alguna vez condenase las ejecuciones sumarias que se siguen produciendo en Cuba”. En menos de 20 segundos, Inda decía tres mentiras de manual. Una, Willy Toledo no vive ya en Cuba, y en su estancia de un año residió de alquiler en un pequeño apartamento de La Habana, jamás en “El Laguito”, residencia de protocolo internacional (15); dos, en Cuba no hay ninguna “ejecución sumaria” y la pena de muerte está en moratoria desde hace 15 años (16); y tres, en Cuba ni se “asesinan homosexuales” ni se conocen crímenes de odio por orientación sexual, en contraste con países como México, Honduras o Colombia (17).
Willy Toledo denunció también la persecución política y mediática que sufre: “Pero voy a sufrir consecuencias. La libertad de expresión, insisto, es el derecho a hablar y el derecho a no ser perseguido por hablar, y a mí me persiguen”. La periodista y tertuliana Nativel Preciado, lejos de solidarizarse con el actor, justificaba su persecución: “Consecuencias porque se pone Vd. en evidencia, porque no está bien informado, porque confunde un totalitarismo con una democracia, porque defiende al régimen de Cuba y al de Venezuela”. Y es que no son solo los dueños y los consejos de redacción de los medios. También su élite de periodistas seleccionados respalda la censura, la represión y la persecución de quienes osan, en los resquicios mínimos que deja el sistema mediático, apoyar a la Revolución cubana y bolivariana.
“Como decía Malcolm X, si no estamos alertas ante los medios de comunicación, nos harán odiar al oprimido y amar al opresor”, recordaba Willy Toledo desde un plató de televisión.

"A Cuba ci sono ancora omosessuali nelle carceri" (Javier Sardá, showman ed opinionista).
Omosessuali imprigionati, assassinati a Cuba? Vi sembra se ascoltiamo le "vittime"? "La società cubana ha ancora molto da cambiare, ma con riguardo a noi gli omosessuali ed i travestiti, ci sono stati sufficienti progressi e di ciò ringraziamo, prima di tutto, la Rivoluzione, perché ci ha dato il nostro spazio" (1). "È il meglio, perché ci ha dato questa libertà e continuerà a darci la libertà, speriamo". "Posso solo dire che sono molto felice che nel mio paese si facciano galà (contro l'omofobia) come questo e che si sostenga la gioventù gay" (2). Sono opinioni raccolte da Cubainformación TV, lo scorso maggio, per le strade dell'isola.
A Cuba, sono stati fatti importanti passi nel rispetto del libero orientamento sessuale e di genere, e campagne contro l'omofobia e la transfobia percorrono le strade, i media e le scuole del paese (3). Ma, come su molti temi, la realtà dell'isola va da un lato, e ciò che ascoltiamo nei media -spagnoli, per esempio- va da un altro.
Il noto showman ed opinionista Javier Sardá attaccava Cuba, su questa stessa linea, citando lo scrittore cubano Reinaldo Arenas. "Reinaldo Arenas, scrittore cubano che stette in prigione, che fu picchiato, che fu distrutto perché omosessuale...". È curioso che il caso Arenas, avvenuto più di 40 anni fa, sia l'argomento, oggi, per attaccare il sistema politico cubano (4).
L'attore Willy Toledo replicava a Sardà citando gli omicidi di stato commessi, a quel tempo, dalla "democrazia" spagnola: "Se parliamo di Reinaldo Arenas parliamo di Lasa e Zabala” -torturati, uccisi e sepolti nella calce viva dalla Guardia Civil nel 1983- "che non erano prigionieri, ma che furono uccisi dal sistema spagnolo" (5).
La scena corrisponde al programma "Al rojo vivo", del canale spagnolo La Sexta, che ha invitato Willy Toledo sul suo set lo scorso 27 giugno (6). Un evento eccezionale, giacché l'attore da quando, nel 2010, ha realizzato alcune dichiarazioni su Cuba inaccettabile per i circoli del potere mediatico (7), e per la sua attività sindacale nel settore audiovisivo (8), soffre un boicottaggio lavorativo (9) e un permanente linciaggio nei media spagnoli (10).
Il programma ha avuto minuti di insolita libertà di espressione, quando Toledo ha parlato di prigionieri politici, torture e mancanza di democrazia in Spagna; o quando ha realizzato una difesa dei processi, demonizzati nei media, come quelli di Cuba e Venezuela.
"Tutte le menzogne che versate sopra il Venezuela, su Cuba, contro tutti quei paesi e sistemi politici che non vi interessano …"
Benché per questo dovesse lottare non solo contro la maggior parte degli opinionisti, ma contro lo stesso presentatore, convertito in giudice e parte.
"Penso che la nostra prospettiva sul Venezuela non sia esattamente la stessa di altri media di questo paese" (Antonio García Ferreras, direttore e presentatore del programma).
"Praticamente. Alla fine, con una patina 'socialdemocratica', 'progressista', state dicendo lo stesso e le stesse assurdità come per esempio che (Nicolas) Maduro è un dittatore, che (Hugo) Chavez era un dittatore"(Willy Toledo).
"Non mi sembra la democrazia di maggior qualità quella di Maduro" (A. G. Ferreras).
"Ma è una menzogna che in Venezuela i media siano perseguitati, è menzogna" (W. Toledo).
"E chi se lo ha inventato, Willy?" (Javier Sardá, opinionista).
"Voi. E i media capitalisti, che sono disposti a mentire sino all'estremo pur di rovesciare i sistemi politici contrari ai loro interessi" (W. Toledo).
Willy Toledo ha approfittato dello spazio per addentrarsi in un tema tabù: quello della proprietà dei media, che condiziona l'informazione e la selezione delle opinioni in base ai loro interessi ed ideologia (11).
"Che voi crediate che abbiamo dove scegliere è una menzogna enorme".
"Gli stessi proprietari di questa catena che passa per essere una catena "progressista" di questo paese sono i proprietari del quotidiano "La Razón", che è il quotidiano nazionale cattolico fascista spagnolo. Questa è una questione di nicchie (di mercato)", ha spiegato l'attore.
"Questo si chiama libertà di stampa", ha risposto Ferreras.
"Quale libertà di stampa?" (W. Toledo).
"C'è un editore che investe in ciò che vuole ed assembla il media che considera" (A. G. Ferreras).
"Come diceva il grande Karl Marx, la libertà di stampa è la libertà del padrone della macchina da stampa, e in questo paese ci sono due gruppi della comunicazione che controllano l'85% dei media" (W. Toledo).
Toledo è andato oltre ed ha messo il dito nella piaga, toccando uno dei temi blindati dalla censura: quello dello sfruttamento del lavoro nelle società giornalistiche (12).
"Tu ti sei chiesto e preoccupato, qualche volta, degli stipendi di queste persone che sono qui dietro le telecamere, addetti alla produzione, tirocinanti, quanto guadagna questa gente? (...) 700 euro ti sembrano buoni, pensi sia buon salario?", si è rivolto ad Antonio García Ferreras.
"Ma perché parli per loro?" ha risposto questi.
"Perché non hanno altoparlante. Hanno voce, ma non altoparlante" (W. Toledo).
"Hanno una voce e altoparlante ..." (A. G. Ferreras).
"Hai mai portato, qualche volta, un cameramen che spieghi le condizioni di lavoro di questo programma? Perché parlo in suo nome? Perché ho il privilegio, tra molti altri, di avere un microfono e me lo avete posto. E poiché i miei compagni di lavoro, operai, non hanno tale microfono, parlo e denuncio la loro situazione", ha spiegato l'attore tra continue interruzioni.
Giorni dopo, un altro programma del canale, La Sexta Noche, è tornato a parlare di Willy Toledo (13). E sotto un grande titolo in tono canzonatorio ("Liberate Willy"), diversi opinionisti si sono dedicati ad insultare l'attore, questa volta senza la sua presenza (14).
"È un fascista Willy Toledo, inoltre è un attore mediocre. (...) Ciò che definisce Willy Toledo è che è uno balordo", diceva Francisco Marhuenda, direttore del quotidiano La Razón.
"Willy Toledo bisogna portarlo ad un ospedale psichiatrico. (...) Uno psichiatra per Willy Toledo, bisogna fare una colletta per pagare uno psichiatra a Willy Toledo", ha aggiunto Eduardo Inda, direttore di OK diario.
Questo opinionista, Eduardo Inda, rimproverava il sostegno dell'attore a Cuba, con i seguenti argomenti: "Mi piacerebbe che questo signore (Willy Toledo), che vive come un re in El Laguito, che è il migliore posto di Cuba (...) qualche volta condannasse l'omicidio di omosessuali a Cuba per il fatto di essere omosessuali, e qualche volta condannasse le esecuzioni sommarie che continuano a verificarsi a Cuba".
In meno di 20 secondi, Inda diceva tre menzogne da manuale. Una, Willy Toledo non vive più a Cuba, e nella sua presenza di un anno risiedette in affitto in un piccolo appartamento all'Avana, mai in "El Laguito" residenza di protocollo internazionale (15); due, a Cuba non c'è alcuna "esecuzione sommaria" e la pena di morte è in moratoria da 15 anni (16); e tre a Cuba neppure si "assassinano omosessuali" né sono noti crimini per odio per orientamento sessuale, a differenza di paesi come Messico, Honduras o Colombia (17).
Willy Toledo ha anche denunciato la persecuzione politica e mediatica che soffre: "Ma soffrirò conseguenze. La libertà di espressione, insisto, è il diritto di parlare ed il diritto di non essere perseguitato per parlare, e mi perseguitano".
La giornalista ed opinionista Nativel Preciado, lungi dal solidarizzarsi con l'attore, giustificava la sua persecuzione: "Conseguenze perché lei si mette in evidenza, perché non è ben informato, perché confonde il totalitarismo con la democrazia, perché difende il regime di Cuba e del Venezuela".
E' che non sono solo i padroni ed i condigli di redazione dei media. Incluso la sua elite di giornalisti selezionati supporta la censura, la repressione e la persecuzione di coloro che osano, nei minimi spiragli che lascia il sistema mediatico, sostenere la Rivoluzione cubana e bolivariana.
"Come diceva Malcolm X, se non stiamo attenti i media, ci faranno odiare l'oppresso ed amare l'oppressore” ricordava Willy Toledo dallo studio TV.

“I would like to hear this man (…) once condemn the murder of homosexuals in Cuba for the simple fact of being homosexuals” (Eduardo Inda, TV commentator and director of OK diario). “In Cuba there are still homosexuals in prisons” (Javier Sardá, showman and TV commentator). Homosexuals jailed, murdered in Cuba? How about listening to the “victims”? “Cuban society still has lots of room for improvement, but in what concerns us homosexuals and transvestites there has been a lot of progress and that is owed, above all, to the Revolution, which has granted us our space” (1). “It’s the best, because it has afforded us this freedom and will continue doing so, we hope”. “I can only say for myself that I’m very happy that in my country there are galas (against homophobia) such as this one and that there is support for gay youth” (2). These were opinions gathered by Cubainformación TV, this past May, in the streets of Cuba.
Cuba has taken important strides in terms of respect towards sexual orientation and gender identity, and campaigns against homophobia and transphobia have been organised in the streets, media and schools (3). But, as with so many other issues, Cuba’s reality is one thing, and what we hear through the media – for example in Spain – is something else.
Renowned showman and TV commentator Javier Sardá attacked Cuba using this angle, mentioning Cuban writer Reinaldo Arenas. “Reinaldo Arenas, Cuban writer who was in prison, was crushed, destroyed for being homosexual...”. It is curious that Arenas’ case, which took place over 40 years ago, is used today to attack the Cuban political system (4). Actor Willy Toledo replied to Sardá mentioning the state murders committed, at the same time, by the Spanish “democracy”: “If we are talking about Reinaldo Arenas let’s talk about Lasa and Zabala” - who were tortured, murdered and buried with quicklime by the Civil Guard in 1983 - “who were not arrested, but instead murdered by the Spanish system” (5).
This scene was set in Spanish TV channel La Sexta during the program “Al rojo vivo”, which invited Willy Toledo to the set on June 27 (6). A significant feat, given that Toledo, ever since his 2010 statements about Cuba were deemed unacceptable by the ruling circles of the media (7), and for his trade unionist activity in the audiovisual industry (8), has been subjected to a boycott (9) and permanent lynching in the Spanish media (10).
The show had some minutes of unusual freedom of speech, when Toledo talked about political prisoners, torture and lack of democracy in Spain; or when he defended processes such as Cuba and Venezuela which are demonised by the media. “All the lies you peddle about Venezuela, about Cuba, about all countries and political systems that you oppose...”. But for that he was up against not just most of the other guests, but the host himself, playing both judge and jury. “I believe our perspective on Venezuela is not exactly the same as the other media in Spain” (Antonio García Ferreras, show director and host). “In practice it is. At the end of the day, you can put up a “progressive” façade, but you end up spouting the same nonsense, for example that (Nicolás) Maduro is a dictator, or that (Hugo) Chávez was a dictator” (Willy Toledo). “I would not say that Maduro’s democracy is of a high calibre” (A. G. Ferreras). “But it’s a lie that in Venezuela the media are persecuted, it’s a lie” (W. Toledo). “And who made it up, Willy?” (Javier Sardá, guest). “All of you. And the capitalist media, who are willing to lie to the utmost extreme in order to get rid of political systems that threaten their interests” (W. Toledo).
Willy Toledo made use of the space to touch on a forbidden subject: the ownership of the media, which conditions the information and the selection of opinions according to its interests and ideology (11). “Your belief that we have the power to elect anyone is a fallacy as big as the Big Ben”. “The same owners of this network, which passes as the “progressive” one in Spain, are the owners of the daily “La Razón”, which is the Spanish catholic fascist newspaper. It’s all a matter of market niches”, the actor explained. “That’s called freedom of the press”, Ferreras replied. “What freedom of the press?” (W. Toledo). “There is an editor editor that puts up the money and sets up whatever media outlet he wants” (A. G. Ferreras). “As the great Karl Marx said, freedom of the press is the freedom of whoever owns the printing press, and in Spain there are two media conglomerates that control 85% of the media” (W. Toledo).
Toledo went further and really put his finger on it, by bringing up one of the issues suppressed by censorship: the exploitation taking place in media companies (12). “Have you ever wondered about the wages of the people behind the cameras, in producing rooms, interns, how much these people make? (…) Does 700 euros sound reasonable to you?”, he asked Antonio García Ferreras. “But why are you speaking on their behalf?”, he replied. “Because they don’t have a loudspeaker. They have a voice, but no loudspeaker” (W. Toledo). “They have a voice an a loudspeaker...” (A. G. Ferreras). “Have you ever asked a cameraman to talk about the labour conditions in this show? Why am I speaking on his behalf? Because I have the privilege, among others, of having this microphone you put in front of me. And since my fellow workers do not have this microphone, I speak and denounce their situation”, he explained amidst constant interruption.
Days later, in another show in the same network, “La Sexta Noche”, Willy Toledo was again the subject (13). And under a giant farcical title (“Free Willy!”), many guests took turns insulting him, this time without him being present (14). “Willy Toledo is a fascist, and a mediocre actor. (…) What defines Willy Toledo is being a loudmouth”, said Francisco Marhuenda, director of the daily La Razón. “Willy Toledo needs to see a shrink. (…) A shrink for Willy Toledo, we need to start a fundraiser to get him to see a shrink”, Eduardo Inda, director of OK diario, added.
This guest, Eduardo Inda, reprimanded Toledo’s support for Cuba, with the following argument: “I would like this man (Willy Toledo), who lives like a king in El Laguito, the best place in Cuba (…) once condemn the murder of homosexuals in Cuba for the simple fact of being homosexuals, and once condemn the summary executions that are still taking place in Cuba”. In less than 20 seconds, Inda recited three textbook lies. One, Willy Toledo no longer lives in Cuba, and when he did live there for a year he rented a small apartment in Havana, he never stayed in “El Laguito”, which is a diplomatic protocol residence (15); two, in Cuba there are no “summary executions” and the death penalty has been in moratorium for 15 years (16); and three, in Cuba there are no “murders of homosexuals” nor hate crimes due to sexual orientation, in contrast to countries such as Mexico, Honduras or Colombia (17).
Willy Toledo also denounced the political and media persecution he has to face: “But I will suffer the consequences. Freedom of speech, I insist, is the right to speak and not be persecuted for what is said, and I am persecuted”. The journalist and show guest Nativel Preciado, far from showing solidarity towards Toledo, justified this persecution: “Consequences because you expose yourself, because you’re not well informed, because you mistake totalitarianism with democracy, because you defend the Cuban and Venezuelan regimes”. So it is not just about the owners and editors of the media. Its select journalistic elite back the censorship, repression and persecution of those who dare, in the minimal spaces left open in the media, support the Cuban and Bolivarian Revolutions.
“As Malcolm X said, if you’re not careful, the media will have you hating the oppressed and loving the oppressor”, Willy Toledo reminded us from a television set.

La chaîne Six et La Razon: le même chien contre Willy Toledo et contre Cuba

Ce sont des opinions recueillies par Cubainformación TV, en mai dernier, dans les rues de l'Île.
A Cuba des pas importants ont été réalisés concernant la libre orientation sexuelle et de genre, et des campagnes contre l'homophobie et la transphobie parcourent les rues, les médias et les écoles du pays (3). Mais, comme sur tant de sujets, la réalité de l'Île va dans un sens, et ce que nous entendons dans les médias - les Espagnols, par exemple – va dans l’autre.
Le fameux animateur et chroniqueur Javier Sardá attaquait Cuba, sur le même niveau, en mentionnant l'écrivain cubain Reinaldo Arenas."Reinaldo Arenas, écrivain cubain qui a été emprisonné, qu'ils ont fracassé, qu’ils ont détruit pour son homosexualité …". Il est curieux que le cas Arènas qui s’est produit il y a plus de 40 ans, soit l'argument aujourd'hui pour attaquer le système politique cubain (4). L'acteur Willy Toledo a répliqué à Sardá en citant les assassinats d'Etat commis, à cette époque, par la"démocratie"espagnole:"Si nous parlons de Reinaldo Arenas parlons alors de Lasa et Zabala"- torturés, assassinés et enterrés dans la chaux vive par la Garde civile en1983-"qui n'ont pas été emprisonnés, mais ont été assassinés par le système espagnol"(5).
La scène se situe dans l’émission"À rouge vif"de la Sixième chaine espagnole, qui a invité Willy Toledo sur son plateau le 27 juin dernier (6). Un fait exceptionnel, puisque, depuis qu'en 2010 l'acteur ayant fait quelques déclarations sur Cuba inacceptables pour les cercles du pouvoir médiatique (7), et pour son activité syndicale dans le secteur audiovisuel (8), subit un boycott professionnel (9) et un lynchage permanent dans les médias espagnols (10).
L’émission a vécu quelques minutes inhabituelles de liberté d'expression, quand Tolèdo a parlé de prisonniers politiques, tortures et manque de démocratie en Espagne ; ou quand il a défendu des systèmes diabolisés dans les médias, comme ceux de Cuba et du Venezuela."Tous les mensonges que déversez sur le Venezuela, sur Cuba, contre tous ces pays et systèmes politiques qui ne vous intéressent pas..."Bien que pour cela, il ait dû lutter non seulement contre la majorité des débatteurs, mais même contre le présentateur, transformé en juge et partie."Je crois que notre perspective sur le Venezuela n'est pas exactement la même que d'autres médias de ce pays"(Antonio García Ferreras, directeur et présentateur du programme)."Pratiquement. À la fin, avec une patine `socialo', `progressiste', vous êtes en train de dire la même chose et dire les mêmes énormités, comme par exemple que (Nicolas) Maduro est un dictateur, que (Hugo) Chávez était un dictateur"(Willy Toledo)."Il ne me semble pas que la démocratie soit la plus grande qualité de Maduro"(A. Willy Toledo a profité de l'espace pour s'aventurer dans un sujet tabou: celui de la propriété des médias, qui conditionne l'information et la sélection d'opinions conformes à ses intérêts et idéologie (11)."Que Vous croyiez que nous avons de quoi choisir est une tromperie comme la coupe d'un pin"."Les mêmes maîtres de cette chaîne qui passe pour être la chaîne 'progressiste' de ce pays sont les maîtres du journal `La Razón ' qui est le journal national catholique fasciste espagnol. C'est une question de niches (de marché)", a expliqué l'acteur."Cela s’appelle liberté de la presse", lui a répondu Ferreras."Quelle liberté de la presse?"(W. Tolèdo)."Il y a un éditeur qui investit dans ce qu'il veut et monte le média qu’il estime"(A. G. Ferreras)."Comme le disait le grand Karl Marx, la liberté de la presse est la liberté du patron de l'imprimerie, et dans ce pays il y a deux groupes de communication qui contrôlent 85 % des médias"(W. Tolèdo).
Tolèdo est allé plus loin, et a mis le doigt dans la plaie, en touchant l'un des sujets blindés par la censure: celui de l'exploitation des travailleurs dans les entreprises journalistiques (12)."T’es-tu demandé et préoccupé quelquefois des salaires de ces gens qui sont ici derrière les caméras, les gens de la production, les stagiaires, combien ces gens touchent-ils? (…): 700 euros ça te semble bien, ça te semble un bon salaire?", il se dirige vers Antonio García Ferreras.:"Mais pourquoi parles-tu en leur nom?, lui a-t-il répondu."Parce qu'ils n'ont pas de haut-parleur. Ils ont une voix, mais pas de haut-parleur"(W. Tolède)."Ils ont une voix et un haut-parleur..."(A. G. Ferreras)."As-tu invité une fois un caméraman pour qu’il explique les conditions de travail de cette émission? Pourquoi je parle en son nom? Parce que j'ai le privilège, parmi beaucoup d’autres, d'avoir un micro et vous me le donnez. Et comme mes camarades travailleuses, ouvrières, n'ont pas ce micro, je parle et dénonce leur situation", a expliqué l'acteur entrecoupé d’interruptions constantes.
Plusieurs jours après, une autre émission de la chaine, La Sixième Nuit, a recommencé à parler de Willy Toledo (13). Et sous un grand titre au ton burlesque ("libérez Willy!"), quelques débatteurs se sont donsacrés à insulter l'acteur, cette fois ci sans sa présence (14)."C’est un fasciste Willy Toledo, en plus c’est un acteur médiocre. (...) ce qui définit Willy Toledo c’est que c’est un crétin", disait Francisco Marhuenda, directeur du journal La Razón."Willy Toledo il faut l’emmener à un aliéniste. (...) Un psychiatre pour Willy Toledo, il faut faire une collecte pour payer un psychiatre à Willy Toledo", ajoutait Eduardo Inda, directeur d'OK Diario.
Ce débatteur, Eduardo Inda, critiquait l'appui de l'acteur à Cuba, avec les arguments suivants:"J’aimerais que ce monsieur (Willy Toledo), qui vit comme un roi dans Le Laguito, qui est le meilleur endroit de Cuba (…) condamne quelquefois le meurtre d’homosexuels à Cuba pour le fait d'être homosexuels, et quelquefois condamne les exécutions sommaires qui continuent de se produire à Cuba". En moins de 20 secondes, Inda avait dit trois mensonges de catalogue. L'une, Willy Toledo ne vit plus à Cuba, et pendant son séjour d'un an il a résidé en location dans un petit appartement de La Havane, jamais dans "El Laguito", résidence de protocole international (15). Deuxièmement, à Cuba n'y a pas d’"exécution sommaire"et la peine de mort est en moratoire depuis 15 ans (16); et troisièmement, à Cuba pas plus qu’on n’"assassine d'homosexuels", on ne connait de crimes de haine pour orientation sexuelle, en contraste avec des pays comme le Mexique, le Honduras ou la Colombie (17).
Willy Toledo a également dénoncé la persécution politique et médiatique qu’il subit:"Mais je vais en subir des conséquences. La liberté d'expression, j'insiste, c'est le droit de parler et le droit de ne pas être poursuivi pour avoir parlé, et à moi, on me poursuit".
La journaliste et débatteuse Nativel Preciado, loin de se solidariser avec l'acteur, a justifié sa persécution: "Des Conséquences parce que vous vous mettez en évidence, parce que vous n’êtes pas bien informé, parce que vous confondez un totalitarisme avec une démocratie, parce que vous défendez le régime de Cuba et celui du Venezuela". Et c'est que ce ne sont pas seulement les patrons et les conseils de rédaction des médias. C’est aussi leur élite de journalistes sélectionnés qui renforcent la censure, la répression et la persécution de ceux qui osent, dans les moindres fissures que laisse le système médiatique, soutenir la Révolution cubaine et bolivarienne.
"Comme disait Malcolm X, si nous ne sommes pas vigilants avec les médias, ils nous feront détester l’opprimé et aimer l'oppresseur", rappelait Willy Toledo depuis un plateau de télévision.

Der Kanal "La Sexta" und "La Razon: der gleiche Hund gegen Willy Toledo und gegen Kuba

"Mir würde es gefallen, wenn dieser Herr (...) eines Tages den Mord an Homosexuellen in Kuba wegen der Tatsache homosexuell zu sein, verurteilen würde" (Eduardo Inda, Gesprächsteilnehmer und Direktor von OK diariao). "In Kuba gibt es noch Homosexuelle in Gefängnissen" (Javier Sardá, Showman und Gesprächsteilnehmer). Eingesperrte oder ermorderte Homosexuelle in Kuba? Kommt es Ihnen so vor, als hörten wir "Opfern" zu? "Die kubanische Gesellschaft muss noch vieles ändern, aber im Hinblick auf uns Homosexuelle und Transvestiten hat es schon viele Fortschritte gegeben, und dies verdanken wir vor allem der Revolution, weil sie uns unseren Raum verschafft hat." (1). Sie war das Beste, weil sie uns diese Freiheit gegeben hat und uns auch weiter geben wird, wie wir hoffen". "Ich kann nur sagen, dass ich sehr zufrieden bin, dass man in meinem Land Galas (gegen die Homophobie) wie diese gibt und dass man die Gay-Jugend unterstützt" (2). Dies sind Meinungen, die im vergangenen Mai auf den Straßen der Insel durch Cubainformación eingefangen wurden.
In Kuba hat man bedeutsame Schritte gemacht im Hinblick auf die freie sexuelle Orientierung und Wahl des Geschlechts, und Kampagnen gegen Homophobie und Transphobie finden auf den Straßen, in den Medien und den Schulen des Landes statt (3). Aber wie bei vielen Themen unterscheidet sich die Realität auf der Insel sehr von dem, was wir in den Medien, zum Beispiel den spanischen hören.
Der bekannte Showman und Gesprächsteilnehmer Javier Sardá griff ganz auf dieser Linie Kuba an, indem er den kubanischen Schriftsteller Reinaldo Arenas erwähnt. "Reinaldo Arenas, kubanischer Schriftsteller, der im Gefängnis war, der fertig gemacht und zerstört wurde wegen seiner Homosexualität...." Es ist schon seltsam, dass der Fall von Arenas, der sich vor mehr als 40 Jahren ereignet hat, heute ins Feld geführt wird, um das kubanische politische System anzugreifen (4). Der Schauspieler Willy Toledo antwortete auf Sardá, indem er auf die durch den Staat Ermordeten in dieser Zeit hinwies, und zwar durch die spanische "Demokratie": "Wenn wir von Reinaldo Arenas sprechen, dann sollten wir auch von Lasa und Zabala sprechen" - gefoltert, ermordet und vergraben in Ätzkalk durch die Guardia Civil im Jahre 1983 - " die nicht Gefangene waren, sondern ermordet wurden durch das spanische System"(5).
Die Szene entstammt dem Programm "Al rojo vivo"des spanischen Kanals La Sexta, der Willy Toledo am letzten 27. Juni in sein Format einlud (6). Ein außergewöhnliches Ereignis, da der Schauspieler, seit er 2010 einige für die Kreise der Medienmacht unakzeptable Erklärungen über Kuba abgab (7) und der wegen seiner gewerkschaftlichen Aktivitäten im audiovisuellen Sektor (8) einen Arbeitsboykott und eine permanente Lynchjustiz in den spanischen Medien erleiden muss (10).
Das Programm hatte zwei Minuten einer ungewöhnlichen Meinungsfreiheit, als Toledo von politischen Gefangenen, Folter und dem Fehlen von Demokratie in Spanien sprach; oder wenn er die in den Medien dämonisierten Prozesse in Kuba und Venezuela verteidigte. "Alle diese Lügen, die ihr über Venezuela ausgießt, über Kuba, gegen alle dieser Länder und politischen Systeme, die Euch nicht interessieren...." Auch wenn er nicht nur gegen die Mehrzahl der Gesprächsteilnehmer kämpfen musste, sondern auch gegen den Moderator, der gleichzeitig Richter und Parteinehmer wurde. "Ich glaube, dass unsere Perspektive auf Venezuela nicht genau die gleiche ist wie die der anderen Kommunikationsmedien in diesem Land" (Antonio Ferreras, Direktor und Moderator des Programmes), "Praktisch aber doch, mit einem sozialistischen, progressiven Anstrich sagt Ihr das Gleiche und den gleichen Unfug, wie zum Beispiel dass (Nicolás) Maduro ein Diktator ist, dass (Hugo) Chavez ein Diktator war" (Willy Toledo). "Mir scheint die Demokratie Maduros nicht von großer Qualität zu sein" (A.G. Ferreras). "Aber es ist eine Lüge, dass die Kommunikationsmedien in Venezuela verfolgt werden, das ist Lüge" (Willy Toledo)."Und wer hat dies erfunden, Willy?" (Javier Sardá, Gesprächsteilnehmer). "Sie! und die kapitalistischen Kommunikationsmedien, die bereit sind, zu lügen bis zum Letzten, um auf diese Weise die politischen Systeme, die Euren Interessen entgegen laufen, zu zerstören" (W. Toledo).
Willy Toledo nutzte den Spielraum, um sich einem Tabu-Thema zu nähern: dem Eigentum an den Kommunikationsmedien, das der Information und der Auswahl der Meinungen zugrunde liegt in Übereinstimmung mit seinen Interessen und Ideologien (11). Dass Sie glauben, dass wir eine Wahl haben, ist eine Täuschung wie ein Glas aus Kiefer". "Dieselben Besitzer diese Kette, die in diesem Land als eine progressive Kette gilt, sind auch die Besitzer der Tageszeitung 'la Razón', die DIE nationale katholische faschistische spanische Tageszeitung ist. Dies ist die Frage von Marktnischen", erklärte der Schauspieler. "Dies nennt sich Pressefreiheit" antwortete ihm Ferreras. "Welche Pressefreiheit?" (W. Toledo). "Es gibt einen Herausgeber, der investiert, wo er möchte und der Kommunikationsmedien betreibt, wie er es für richtig hält." (A.G. Ferreras). "Wie der große Karl Marx sagte, ist die Freiheit der Presse die Freiheit des Herausgebers des Druckwerks, und in diesem Land gibt es zwei Gruppen , die 85% der Medien kontrollieren" (W. Toledo).
Toledo ging noch weiter und legte den Finger in die Wunde, als er eines der härtesten Themen der Zensur ansprach: die Ausbeutung der Arbeit in den journalistischen Unternehmen (12). "Hast Du Dich schon mal gefragt nach und gesorgt um die Gehälter dieser Leute, die hier hinter den Kameras stehen, der Produktionsleute, der Praktikanten, wieviel man denen bezahlt? (...) 700 Euros erscheint Dir passabel, scheint Dir ein gutes Gehalt zu sein?" wandte er sich an Antonio García Ferreras. "Aber warum sprichst Du in ihrem Namen?" antwortete dieser. "Weil sie keinen Sprecher haben. Sie haben eine Stimme, aber keinen Sprecher" (W. Toledo). "Sie haben eine Stimme und einen Sprecher..." (A.G.Ferreras). "Hast Du jemals eine Kamera getragen, was die Arbeitsbedingungen dieses Programms deutlich macht? Warum spreche ich in ihrem Namen? Weil ich unter anderem das Privileg habe, ein Mikrophon zu halten und es zu nutzen. Und weil meine Genossen Arbeiterinnen und Arbeiter kein Mikrophon haben, deshalb spreche ich und bringe ihre Situation an die Öffentlichkeit", erklärte der Schauspieler unter ständigen Unterbrechungen.
Tage später sprach man erneut, in einem anderen Programm des Kanals, La Sexta Noche, über Willy Toledo (13). Und unter der Überschrift in einem burlesken Ton ("Befreit Willy") beleidigten einige Gesprächsteilnehmer den Schauspieler, der diesmal nicht anwesend war. (14). "Willy Toledo ist ein Faschist, ausserdem ein grausiger Schauspieler (...)Was Willy Toledo ausmacht, ist, dass er ein unbesonnener Mensch ist", sagte Francisco Marhuenda, Direktor der Tageszeitung La Razón. "Man muss Willy Toledo zu einem Phrenologen bringen. (...) Ein Psychiater für Willy Toledo, man muss eine Sammlung machen, um ihm einen Psychiater zu bezahlen" schloss sich Eduardo Inda, Direktor von OK diario an.
Dieser Gesprächsteilnehmer, Eduardo Inda, diskriminierte die Unterstützung des Schauspielers für Kuba mit folgenden Argumenten: "Mir würde gefallen, dass dieser Herr (Willy Toledo), der wie ein König in El Larguito lebt, was der angenehmste Platz Kubas ist (..) eines Tages den Mord an Homosexuellen in Kuba wegen der Tatsache homosexuell zu sein, verurteilt, und außerdem die summarischen Hinrichtungen, die weiterhin in Kuba vollzogen werden." In weniger als 20 Sekunden hat Inda drei Lügen aus dem Ärmel geschüttelt. Erstens lebt Willy Toledo noch nicht in Kuba, und während seines einjährigen Aufenthalts wohnte er in einer kleinen Wohnung in Havanna zur Miete, niemals in 'El Larguito', Residenz des internationalen Protokolls (15), zweitens gibt es in Kuba keinerlei "summarische Hinrichtungen", und die Todesstrafe ist seit 15 Jahren ausgesetzt (16) und drittens bringt man in Kuba weder Homosexuelle um noch kennt man Hassverbrechen wegen der sexuellen Orientierung, im Gegensatz zu Ländern wie México, Honduras oder Kolumbien (17).
Willy Toledo machte auch die politische Verfolgung und in den Medien öffentlich, die er erleidet: "Aber ich werde die Konsequenzen zu tragen haben. Die Meinungsfreiheit ist, darauf bestehe ich, das Recht zu sprechen und das Recht, deshalb nicht verfolgt zu werden, und mich verfolgen sie". Der Journalist und Gesprächsteilnehmer Nativel Preciado, weit davon entfernt, sich mit dem Schauspieler zu solidarisieren, rechtfertigt seine Verfolgung: "Konsequenzen, die Sie angeben, weil Sie nicht gut informiert sind, weil Sie Totalitarismus verwechseln mit Demokratie, weil Sie die Regime in Kuba und Venezuela verteidigen". Und es sind nicht nur die Eigentümer und Redaktionskollegien. Auch die Elite ausgesuchter Journalisten unterstützt die Zensur, die Repression und die Verfolgung derjenigen, die es wagen, mit den geringsten Mitteln, die ihnen das Mediensystem lässt, der kubanischen und bolivarischen Revolution zu helfen.
"Wie sagte Malcom X, wenn wir nicht vor den Kommunikationsmedien auf der Hut sind, bringen sie uns dazu, den Unterdrückten zu hassen und den Unterdrücker zu lieben", erinnerte Willy Toledo aus den Fernsehkulissen.

Zer deritzozue “biktimei” entzuteari? “Kubako gizarteak badu oraindik zer aldatu, baina homosexualoi eta trabestioi dagokigunez, aurrerapen ugari egin dira. Hori, batez ere, Iraultzari eskertu behar diogu, gure tokia eman baitigu” (1). “Iraultza onena izan da, askatasun hau eman digulako, eta askatasuna ematen jarraitzea espero dugu”. “Esan dezakedan gauza bakarra da oso pozik nagoela nire herrialdean honelako galak (homofobiaren kontrakoa) egiten direlako, eta gay gazteriari laguntzen zaiolako” (2). Adierazpen horiek guztiak Uharteko kaleetan jaso zituen Cubainformación TV-k, joan den maiatzean.
Kuban, urrats garrantzitsuak egin dira sexu- eta genero-joera askatasunez hautatzearekiko errespetuari dagokionez, eta homofobiaren eta transfobiaren aurkako kanpainak han-hemenka daude herrialdeko kaleetan, hedabideetan eta ikastetxeetan (3). Alta, beste zenbait gairekin gertatzen den bezala, Uharteak bizi duen errealitatea bide batetik doa, eta hedabideek -espainiarrek, kasu- helarazten digutena, ordea, beste batetik.
Horren harira, Javier Sardá showman eta tertuliakide ezagunak Reinaldo Arenas idazle kubatarra aipatuz eraso zuen Kuba: “Reinaldo Arenas, espetxean egondako idazle kubatarra... Txikitu egin zuten, suntsitu, homosexuala zelako...”. Bitxia da, gero, duela 40 urte luze gertatutako “Arenas kasua” orain baliatzea Kubako sistema politikoari eraso egiteko (4). Willy Toledo aktoreak Espainiako “demokraziak” garai hartan egindako estatu-erailketak aipatu zituen, Sardári erantzuteko. “Reinaldo Arenasi buruz hitz egingo badugu, mintza gaitezen Lasa eta Zabalaren gainean ere -1983an, Guardia Zibilak torturatu, erail eta kare bizian lurperatu zituen-. Ez ziren preso egon; Espainiako sistemak erail zituen” (5).
Eszena hori Espainiako La Sexta telebista-kateko “Al rojo vivo” saioan gertatu zen, ekainaren 27an, Willy Toledo gonbidatua zelarik (6). Ezohiko gertaera, zinez; izan ere, aktore espainiarra lan-boikota (9) eta Espainiako hedabideen etengabeko lintxamendua jasaten ari da, 2010etik (10): alde batetik, orduan Kubari buruzko adierazpen batzuk -onartezinak, botere mediatikoaren aburuz- (7) egiteagatik; beste alde batetik, ikus-entzunezkoen sektorean garatutako jarduera sindikalarengatik (8).
Saioan, ezohiko adierazpen-askatasun tarteak izan ziren; besteak beste, Toledok, Espainiaz ari zela, preso politikoei, torturari eta demokraziarik ezari buruz hitz egin zuenean, bai eta hedabideetan erdeinatzen diren Kubako eta Venezuelako prozesuak babestu zituenean ere. “Venezuela, Kuba, gogoko ez dituzuen herrialde eta sistema politiko guztien gainean aipatzen dituzuen gezurrak...”. Nolanahi ere, adierazpen horiek egin ahal izateko, tertuliakide gehienei egin behar izan zien aurre. Are gehiago: aurkezleari berari ere bai, epaile eta alde interesdun bihurtu baitzen. “Nire iritziz, gure ikuspegia Venezuelari dagokionez ez da herrialde honetako beste hedabide batzuek dutena” (Antonio García Ferreras, saioaren zuzendaria eta aurkezlea). “Ia-ia bera da. Azken finean, gauza bera esaten duzue, berniz ‘soziata’ eta ‘progrea’ emanda, bai, baina astakeria berak botatzen dituzue: (Nicolás) Maduro diktadorea dela, eta (Hugo) Chávez ere diktadorea izan zela” (Willy Toledo). “Ez dut uste Madurorena kalitaterik goreneko demokrazia denik” (A. G. Ferreras). “Bada, gezurra da Venezuelan hedabideak jazartzen dituztela; gezurra da” (W. Toledo). Orduan, nork asmatu du hori, Willy? (Javier Sardá, tertuliakidea). “Zeuek. Baita hedabide kapitalistek ere; izan ere, prest daude gezurrak azken muturreraino eramateko, horrela beren interesen kontrako sistema politikoak eraitsiko badituzte” (W. Toledo).
Toledok gai tabu baten gainean aritzeko baliatu zuen aukera: hedabideen jabetza, zeinak informazioa baldintzatzen duen eta bere interesen zein ideologiaren araberako iritziak hautatzen dituen (11). “Zuek badugula zer aukeratu uste izatea gezur hutsa da”. “Herrialde honetako kate ‘progretzat’ jotzen da hau, baina jabeak La Razón egunkariaren jabe berak dira, hau da, Espainiako egunkari nazional-katoliko-faxistarenak. Merkatu-nitxo kontua da” azaldu zuen aktoreak. “Prentsa-askatasuna esaten zaio horri” erantzun zion Ferrerasek. “Zer prentsa-askatasun eta zer prentsa-askatasun ondo?” (W. Toledo). “Editore batek nahi duen inbertsioa egin dezake, bai eta nahi duen hedabidea abian jarri ere” (A. G. Ferreras). “Karl Marx handiak zioen bezala, prentsa-askatasuna inprimategiaren jabearen askatasunean datza, eta, herrialde honetan, bi komunikazio-taldek hedabideen % 85 dute kontrolpean” (W. Toledo).
Toledo harago joan zen, eta atzamarra zaurian sartu zuen, zentsurak blindatutako gai bat aipatu baitzuen: kazetagintza-enpresen lan-esplotazioa (12). “Kameren atzealdean dauden pertsonen soldatak... Galdetu al diozu inoiz zure buruari zenbatekoak diren? Arduratu zara inoiz horretaz? Ekoizpen-arloko jendeak, bekadunek... zenbat irabazten duten? (...) 700 euro... zer deritzozu? Soldata ona iruditzen zaizu?” galdetu zion García Ferrerasi. “Baina zer dela-eta hitz egiten duzu haien izenean?” ihardetsi zion aurkezleak. “Bozgorailurik ez dutelako. Ahotsa eduki badute; bozgorailurik, ordea, ez” (W. Toledo). “Ahotsa eta bozgorailua, biak dituzte...” (A. G. Ferreras). “Ekarri al duzu inoiz kamerari bat saio honetako lan-baldintzak azal ditzan? Zergatik mintzatzen naizen haien izenean? Beste pribilegio askoren artean, mikrofono bat izatekoa dudalako, eta parean jartzen didazue. Bada, nire kideek, emakumezko langileek[1] , mikrorik ez dutenez, neuk salatzen dut haien egoera” adierazi zuen aktoreak, une oro eten bazuten ere.
Handik egun batzuetara, kate bereko “La Sexta Noche” saioan Toledori buruz hitz egin zuten (13). Burla-kutsuko izenburu deigarria jarri zioten saioari, “¡Liberad a Willy!” (Askatu Willy!), eta tertuliakide batzuek aktorea iraintzen jardun zuten -Toledo bertan egon gabe- (14). “Willy Toledo faxista hutsa da, eta oso aktore kaskarra (...) Willy Toledo txoriburua da; horrek definitzen du” esan zuen Francisco Marhuendak, La Razón-en zuzendariak. “Willy Toledo zoroetxe batera eraman beharra dago (...) Willy Toledok psikiatra bat behar du; diru-bilketa bat egin behar dugu Willy Toledori psikiatra ordaintzeko” erantsi zuen Eduardo Indak, OK diario-ren zuzendariak.
Azken horrek aktoreak Kubari erakutsitako babesa gaitzetsi zuen: “Nahi nuke El Laguito-n, Kubako tokirik onenean, bizi den jaun honek salatzea, lantzean behin, Kuban homosexualak homosexual izateagatik erailtzen dituztela; eta salatzea, noizbait, halaber, Kuban oraindik egiten dituzten exekuzio sumarioak”. 20 segundoan baino gutxiagoan, Inda tertuliakideak hiru gezur biribil esan zituen: lehenik eta behin, Toledo gaur egun ez da Kuban bizi, eta Uhartean eman zuen urtebetean alokairuan egon zen, Habanako apartamentu txiki batean, ez El Laguito-ko nazioarteko protokolo-egoitzan (15); bigarrenik, Kuban ez dago “exekuzio sumariorik”, eta 15 urte joan dira heriotza-zigorra luzamendu-egoeran dagoenetik (16); eta, hirugarrenik, Kuban ez da “homosexualik erailtzen”, eta ez dago sexu-joeragatiko gorroto-krimenen berririk, Mexikon, Hondurasen edo Kolonbian ez bezala (17).
Toledok, era berean, pairatzen duen jazarpen politikoa eta mediatikoa salatu zuen: “Ondorioak nozituko ditut. Berriro diot: adierazpen-askatasuna hitz egiteko eskubidea da, bai eta hitz egiteagatik jazarria ez izateko eskubidea ere. Eta ni jazartzen ari zaizkit”. Nativel Preciado tertuliakide eta kazetariak ez zion elkartasunik adierazi; are gehiago, jazarpen hori justifikatu zuen: “Ondorioak agerian geratzen zarelako izango dituzu, ez zaudelako ondo informatuta, totalitarismoa eta demokrazia nahasten dituzulako, eta Kubako nahiz Venezuelako erregimenak babesten dituzulako”. Bada, hedabideen jabeek eta erredakzio-kontseiluek soilik ez, beren eliteko kazetariak ere babesten du sistema mediatikoak uzten duen zirrikitu txikiena baliatuta iraultza kubatarra eta bolibariarra babestera ausartzen direnak zentsuratzea, erreprimitzea eta jazartzea.
“Malcolm Xk zioen bezala, hedabideei adi ez bagaude, zapaldua gorrotarazi eta zapaltzailea maitaraziko digute” gogoratu zuen Willy Toledok telesaio batean.
