¡La lucha es nuestra vida!: el Comité Ucraniano “Stop al Bloqueo”
Hoy, en abril de 2020, el gobierno ucraniano, que expresa los intereses de la oligarquía como gobernante grupo (clase), utiliza abiertamente la epidemia COVID-19 para sus intereses políticos. Ucrania introdujo las más estrictas medidas de cuarentena que prohíben cualquier evento masivo y estableció una restricción de 2 kilómetros a la circulación de personas alrededor de la ciudad de Kiev desde lo lugar de registro. Legislativamente en la pobre Ucrania aplican enormes multas diez veces más altas que las multas en Inglaterra, Francia y otros países europeos. Al mismo tiempo, los eventos masivos de jóvenes fascistas pagados continúan sin restricciones.
A pesar de las difíciles condiciones, los activistas del Comité ucraniano “Stop el bloqueo de Cuba” en la ciudad de Kiev el 17 de abril de 2020 reunieron camaradas confiables y se acercaron a los muros de la Embajada de Estados Unidos para informar de una fuerte protesta y exigir el levantamiento inmediato del bloqueo de Cuba. Anuncian la necesidad inmediata de levantar el bloqueo inhumano, que está en vigor incluso durante la pandemia COVID-19 y dirigido a un genocidio abierto y claro dirigido contra cubanos honestos e independientes.
Ningún virus, ningún deseo del Imperio nefasto como Estados Unidos que controla el gobierno de Ucrania no será capaz de cerrar la boca de la gente, no será capaz de detener a la gente en su fuerte y justa demanda de la implementación inmediata de las resoluciones de la ONU para levantar el bloqueo de Cuba.
La gente de Ucrania en sus corazones dice y actúa:
¡Junto con Cuba!
¡Junto con Fidel!
¡Junto con los Cubanos!
Las condiciones difíciles no asustan. ¡Un paso adelante se volverá más fuerte y más firme!
¡Los ucranianos solidaridad con todo el pueblo cubano!

RECONOCIMIENTO INTERNACIONAL: BRIGADAS MÉDICAS CUBANAS FRENTE A LA PANDAMIA DEL COVID-19

La solidaridad cubana no es una consigna o un eslogan más de la Revolución. Por el contrario, históricamente la solidaridad se ha manifestado en los momentos más cruciales y apremiantes que han sufrido muchos pueblos alrededor del mundo.
La solidaridad, contrario a lo que presupone la cultura mediática de la desinformación, no se utiliza como un vector ideológico, para manifestarse, materializarse o concretizarse. Ayer fueron campañas para enfrentar el SARS, el H1N1, más tarde el ébola, y posteriormente el VIH.
Cuando hablamos de salud y solidaridad, el límite del mar Caribe que rodea a la Habana y a Cuba, no reconoce fronteras.
Hoy, una vez más, ese amplio ejército de médicos, enfermeras(os), personal técnico y encargados de infraestructura cubanos, dicen presente ahora en China, Italia, Venezuela, España, Nicaragua. Los brigadistas médicos y de salud no se detienen en el color de la bandera que reclama sus esfuerzos. En los últimos días, por ejemplo, Cuba ofreció al Presidente de los Estados Unidos de América-USA, Donald Trump, un contingente de personal de salud y médicos para atender la situación tan apremiante que vive hoy New York.
Pero además, téngase en consideración que Miguel Díaz-Canel, Presidente Constitucional de Cuba y Raúl Castro Ruz, General del Ejército y Primer Secretario del Comité Central del Partido Comunista de este país; más el Ministro de Salud Pública, Dr. Roberto Morales Ojeda, no solo ofrecieron poner a disposición de los Estados Unidos, grandes lotes de interferón –medicina que está resultando efectiva para contener el avance del COVID-19- ; sino un considerable grupo de su equipo médico y diferente profesionales de la salud.
Sin embargo, la testarudez, la obtusa y obcecada mirada de Trump, ha impedido que esta humanitaria solidaridad y colaboración desinteresada por parte de Cuba, se haya convertido en realidad.
Pero lo anterior, no es el tema que nos ocupa. Hoy, como ACODEHU, queremos patentizar ante la opinión pública nacional e internacional, nuestro voto de reconocimiento y apoyo moral a estos gestos altruistas, humanitarios y solidarios de todas las personas adscritas a los médicos, enfermeras(os) personal auxiliar, al gobierno de la hermana República de Cuba y al pueblo de Martí y Fidel, por esta invaluable y encomiable acción humanitaria.
¡¡¡ Cuba y su equipo médico y de salud !!!, estamos seguros que hacen realidad la luz del diamante que soñara Martí y este heroico pueblo cubano.
Cuba tiene ese faro en el Malecón que sigue dando esperanza en estos momentos de aislamiento físico; pero en lo social seguiremos juntos aspirando por un mundo cada vez mejor, más solidario y profundamente humanitario. Un mundo que sepa soñar una nueva utopía, frente a este capitalismo descarnado y salvaje.

Monrovia, 19 de abril, 2020.- Un día como hoy del año 1974, Cuba y Liberia decidieron establecer sus relaciones diplomáticas.
Bajo el concepto del respeto y ayuda mutua ambos países fortalecen sus relaciones por el bien del pueblo de Liberia y del pueblo cubano.
Muchos de los miembros de esta asociación, somos el fruto de las relaciones bilaterales entre ambas naciones; Liberia, país donde nacimos, y Cuba, país donde nos formamos y nos enseñaron a ser hombres y mujeres de bien. Donde nos inculcaron el sentido de la solidaridad, esa solidaridad que en nuestros días de pandemia Cuba expande por los países necesitados del mundo.
En la celebración de este aniversario, nos unimos una vez más al llamado de la comunidad internacional por el cese del bloqueo de EE.UU. contra Cuba, país al que excluyen de la ayuda humanitaria y al que obstaculizan para que no reciba ayuda de otros países. Basta, es necesario levantar estas sanciones ante la propagación de la COVID-19.
Para los miembros de la Embajada de Cuba en Liberia felicidades en este nuevo aniversario.
Tendremos tiempo de celebrar muchos aniversarios más.

ACIS-M Symposium Declarations for Cuba
DECLARATIONS AT THE ACIS-M SYMPOSIUM HELD ONLINE ON SUNDAY, APRIL 19, 2020 ON THE 59TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE DEFEAT OF BAY OF PIGS (US IMPERIALIST) INVASION OF CUBA & THE SOLIDARITY OF THE PANAFRICAN WORLD WITH CUBA AGAINST THE ECONOMIC, COMMERCIAL AND FINANCIAL BLOCKADE OF CUBA BY THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT
• An international online conference to commemorate the 59th Anniversary of the April 17 – 19, 1961 Bay of Pigs American invasion of Cuba was held today, April 19, 2020.
• Coordinated by the Amilcar Cabral Ideological School (ACIS-M) Movement based in Nigeria, it attracted participants from the United States, Ghana, Guinea Bissau, Cuba, South Africa, Germany and Nigeria. The Cuban ambassadors in Nigeria and Ghana, the Venezuelan Ambassador in Nigeria and Comrade Sister Bilony Nhama Nitantamba Nhasse Politburo of the PAIGC Central Committee, and Secretary-General of UDEMU were special guests.
• In her opening remarks, Her Excellency, the Cuban Ambassador to Nigeria, Clara Pulido remembered that the blockades have caused to the Cuban people an average daily cost of U$ 12 million since started. She further remarked that when coronavirus situation began, 60 Cuban medical brigades were working in different countries, including 31 in Africa, from Algeria in the north, to South Africa in the south, from Ethiopia in the horn, to Gambia and Guinea Bissau in the extreme west, including, of course, a Brigade that works in the refugee camps together with our Saharawi brothers and sisters. Now, 21 new Brigades of Henry Reeve Contingent have gone to work in 20 countries. Once again Cuba shares what it has, the human resources formed on humanitarian principles.
• This was followed by the solidarity speech by Fernando Gonzalez Llort, President of ICAP. He said Cuba, in the midst of an inhuman and genocidal blockade, did not hesitate to respond that with an army of white coats made up of more than 1,000 health professionals, organized in 21 brigades to Africa, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, and the Middle East. He said this is the time humanity demands solidarity as never before.
• Fernando González further said it is with deep humanistic conviction, the government and people of Cuba offer the world, once again, the example of militant solidarity at a time when the planet is facing the global pandemic of the new Coronavirus Sars Cov-2, Covid-19. The invasion was by a 1,500 force American-based Cuban renegades, mercenaries, CIA and special forces. They were backed by 8 B-26 Bombers and 5 supply ships. After three days of fighting, the Cuban revolutionary forces defeated the invaders killing 122 of them including 4 Americans, downing 2 bombers and destroying 2 ships. A total of 1,202 of the invaders were captured with only 120 escaping. It was a decisive defeat for imperialism. However, today, 59 years later, the American establishment continues to plot another invasion.
• From the Ambassador of Cuba in Ghana came the inspiration that: “Today the heritage of Giron still alive in the Cuban health specialists that are participating in the struggle of the Covid-19 pandemic. That was the same idea that moves the Cuban doctors in Liberia and Sierra Leone during the Ebola outbreak.
• Ambassador Velasquez of Venezuela remarked that Cuba y Venezuela, Una Sola Bandera!! All our Solidarity and Friendship with the Cuban People, the Comandante Hugo Chávez and the Commandante Fidel Castro, is to build a very strong ties of Cooperation and Solidarity, and model of International.
Cooperation and Integration. Cuba defeated the attack in Giron in April, 1961, in 2002 in April we defeated in Venezuela the Coup d’etat against President Chávez; April is the Month of People’s Victory.
• President Nicolás Maduro and the Venezuelan People are following the legacy of President Chávez to build the Bolivarian Socialism.Mrs. Ngozi Iwere, CEO of Nigeria’s Community Life Project said the Bay of Pigs was the third defeat of imperialism in Cuba within three years. The first she said was the overthrow of the puppet Batista regime and the second was Cubans taking full control of their economy. She pointed out that despite six decades of American blockade; Cuba is the most sustainably developed country in the world.
• Comrade Dr. Dipo Fashina, National Coordinator of Centre for Popular Education (CEPED) and Joint Action Front (JAF), while speaking on the significance of the invasion said “The defeat of imperialism in the Bay of Pigs, the humiliation of Imperialism by the Cuban people, opened real possibilities of defeating imperialism in Africa. It engendered a deep inspiration of the colonised and oppressed peoples all over the world. The Cuban revolution and the Cuban people have turned out to play a decisive role in the success of the liberation wars in Africa. The umbilical cord not just of common ancestry.”
• Discussants on the Symposium were Albie Walls of the All-Africa Peoples’ Revolutionary Party (AAPRP) in Ghana, Según Oladunni Che of ACIS-M, Imani Umoja of PAIGC and AAPRP Guinea Bissau and Ande Afrika of ACISM.
• There were interventions from other participants that reaffirmed the solidarity of the African movements with Cuba, demanding for the lifting of the criminal blockade. In a further contribution, the Ambassador of Cuba to Nigeria remembered that Fidel, who led the victory of Playa Grion and created the Cuban international cooperation, continues leading all Cuban generations and revolutionaries all over the world.
DECLARATIONS AGAINST THE BLOCKADE
1. The Meeting unequivocally condemned the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed on Cuba by the Government of the United States of America as well as the application of the Helms Bolton Act.
2. Participants recognize Cuba’s effort by sending 21 Medical Brigades to 20 countries, with more than 1,000 personnel in Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, Europe and the Middle East to assist in the fight against the coronavirus. US government practices blockade, Cuba practices solidarity.
3. Against the background of the current reality of the Cuban internationalist mission, being the frontline country assisting the global response to the coronavirus pandemic in over 20 countries, the Meeting strongly demands the unconditional and urgent removal of the unjustified blockade.
4. We want the United States Government and its allies to note that Cuba is not alone. We defend the right of Cuba to be an Independent, socialist and sovereign country.
5. We condemn the attempt to suffocate the sovereignty of Cuba through the measures of the Trump Administration directed to economically asphyxiates the Cuban people.
6. The blockade is a politics of genocide, criminal, illegal, cruel, insensitive and inhumane, affecting the fundamental rights of every Cuban.
7. We Africans have benefited from the political solidarity and humanitarianism of the Cuban revolution, which has brought to our people medical, sports, health, cultural and educational benefits among many others.
8. The people have the right to decide their destiny. On the 1st of January 1959 Cuba chose its path to socialism, which they will NEVER abandon.

A PEOPLE UNITED WILL NEVER BE DEFEATED.
